The vocal scores include an edition published by Joseph Williams, two distinct manuscript editions, and a set of handwritten mimeo scores. The vocal parts are handwritten mimeos. Promptbooks include a typescript version which is "rearranged by W. T. Carleton," a manuscript copy which twice bears the signature of Jesse Williams and the dates "Nov-26-94" and "1884," and a set of handwritten mimeo copies in Tams folders. The dialogue parts occur as four distinct sets, two of which are handwritten and two which are typescript, as well as some unbound typed pages. The accompanying material consists of "correcting sheets"(i.e., copies of mimeo vocal score excerpts intended to be pasted into the mimeo vocal scores).
